Welcome!

My name is Emilio Peláez, I'm an iOS developer with over a decade of experience developing applications for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch devices. I spend a lot of my free time at the beach or taking photos with my Mavic Air.

I started developing apps for jailbroken apps in 2009 and I’ve always had a passion for creating custom UI controls and interactions, as well as pushing animations beyond the frameworks provided by the iOS SDK.

Having studied Game Design at Vancouver Film School, I have some background in game development, which is of great use when working with animations.

As one of my more recent projects I created a server using Swift to completely automate the lights in my apartment. Learn about it here.
